Am I too old to learn English?

Nope.  

It is never too late to learn English and learn it properly. You only need a method that suits your needs and your interests. Kids learn to speak out of the necessity to communicate. That’s why it is impossible to learn English as an adult through a method designed for kids.

My pronunciation is weak. I can speak, but I am not understood. How can I get rid of my accent?

First of all, accent and pronunciation are two different things. You learn pronunciation and you copy the accent. English is spoken as an official and co-official language in more than 50 countries around the world and it is the most widely used language for international communication. English native speakers sometimes need subtitles to understand other English speakers with a different accent. However, pronunciation is a skill that must be learned while learning vocabulary and grammar.

Following the former answer: pronunciation is learned and accent is copied. If you learn how to pronounce correctly, people will understand you no matter the accent.
